I'm considering a tour of New England, New Brunswick, & Nova Scotia after the MG 2015 NAMGBR event in Niagara Falls in June. Looking for suggestions of must see sights. I'm doing the MMC (Moss Motoring Challenge) so I'l be looking for points. I always enjoy meeting fellow MG enthusiasts. I've not driven much in New England but would like to plan out about a two week route. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

There are lots of great things to see in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, and PEI as well. Definitely do the Fundy Trail Parkway and the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton; I'm hoping to drive both this July when I'm back home for a visit.

Route 2 thru VT, NH, and ME is a really nice drive, with a stop at Sunday River Brewing Co, near Bethel, ME, for a pint.

When you're in Badeck, check out the Alexander Graham Bell museum. St Andrews, New Brunswick, is a beautiful little town and the Van Horne summer estate on Ministers Island is worth seeing, along with the Algonquin hotel. If you can spare the time drive through Funday National park on your way to the Hopewell Rocks.

I've received the travel propaganda from Nova Scotia & maine will be getting my trip tik from AAA soon. Anyone who would like t meet up for a beverage or a meal please pm or email me : pjlenihan@me.com

I'll be finalizing the itinerary soon, then start making hotel reservations

Planning a road trip is fun but not as much fun as actually getting in the MGB and driving off into the sunset. . . .

Unfortunately I'll be back home to New Brunswick at a later time, the last two weeks of July, but look me up at MG2015 and we can have that beer.

Hi Roger,

Been there, done that, pic below!

Also in Bennington, check out the Madison Brewing Company Pub & Restaurant.

I didn't notice anything near Plymouth and Cape Cod on your map, but again, let us know when you're in the area and we'll show you some fun roads around the area that avoid a lot of the traffic that the clueless tourists sit in and then complain about. winking smiley

Cheers,

Rick
