Item and Price: Air rail $10.00

Very Positive

Kyle wasn't sure what air rail I needed so he sent me two for the price of one. That's what I call great customer service. So if anyone needs an air rail I now have an extra to pass along thanks to Kyle.

Yes I am interested in your extra air rail. I need all the pollution equipment ere in Korea so a spare is much appreciated. Conditions are you are willing to send it to my sister in Ossining, NY and receive payment from PayPal. I cannot write checks as no one here even knows what they are! If these conditions are acceptable I will purchase it from you. My car is a 73 and I will send you two photos of my engine with the air rail installed, George in Korea

George,

FYI, in the future you will have more success in finding parts if you post in the Buy/Sell/Trade area of this forum

That being said, are the photos posted of your car? If so, they seem to show the air rail installed. Can you confirm/advise, pls?

Cheers from the US...

Dick

Item: set of interior door latches

Feedback: Excellent

Mark located a second set of latches for me and shipped them immediately - even before he received payment from me. They were carefully wrapped and shipped. Great guy to deal with!

I bought a steering wheel from this guy, and he took a photo of a different wheel or the he photo shopped the photo he listed. I paid promptly. The wheel arrived in junk condition and unusable. I kindly contacted him offering to pay shipping both ways. I listed his reply's below.
His sale of this wheel was to purposely rip off the buyer, there is no other reason. NO one would list that piece of junk and sell it to another member except for that reason. I like his answer that I, fellow member, should have done "due diligence."
What a crock! The photo looked good the wheel was expensive 150.00 plus 20 shipping, even though it only cost him 15. He should have said the wheel was broke in two and is trash. He hoped that the price and the doctored photo would entice someone to act quickly, before another buyer acted, to make a quick purchase. What proves this is, he will not take it back.
It's dishonesty at it's highest.

(The attached photo is his altered photo, anyone would buy the wheel in the photo. The true wheel is in two pieces and so badly pitted, bent, and the wood rotted and broke in two places, and is totally unusable.)

Bob.

IMHO the picture does look like the steering wheel. Prior to making the decision to buy you failed to exercise "due diligence." You also failed to ask for more pictures and more details both of which I would have provided had you asked. What you have is a case of buyer's remorse and I can't help you. You may wish to sell the wheel at a local swap meet.

Hi James, Maybe I was not clear. I'm offering to return the wheel for the 150 dollars I paid only. I would pay the shipping BOTH ways. So to be clear it would cost me 40 dollars for the wheel. You are not out anything and you get the wheel back, plus the 5 extra for the shipping. You must admit the photo does not look anything like the actual wheel. Would there be any other reason for you being "unable" to take it back?
Bob.

I regret that I am unable to issue a refund.

Hi James, I received the wheel today, thanks for the quick shipping. I hate to be a complainer, it's not normally me, but, The wheel is in pretty bad shape. It is broke on two places and a pretty bad repair on one, that will most certainly leave a splinter. The hub is pitted as well. This picture you had was not that clear, and the wheel looked pretty good in the photo, not so much in person. I was wondering if I shipped it back to you can you make a refund.
Bob.

As he says, 'due diligence'.

Now we will ALL have 'due diligence' when dealing with this character.

Thanks for the heads up Bob,

Jim

Folks,

This 'transaction' with MG Mex turned out to be a SCAM. The Western Union number I was given was bogus.

I told this character the price for his parts was $150, PLUS $64 shipping.

He claims he only sent $150 because that was what he had.

Don't waste your time.

Jim
