I think it is time that we have a marketplace feedback thread where we can post feedback for sellers and buyers on this forum. If this is done properly and no comments are made by other parties, it will make it very easy to search this thread for people you do - or do not - want to do business with. The decision is yours. It should be noted that this is not endorsed by the owners or operators of this forum and that the parties posting are responsible for their own comments. PLEASE - no discussion or comments from people outside of the transaction - just feedback from buyers and/or sellers. Lets keep it civil and stick to the facts.

The format I would suggest is:

Seller's Forum Name:
Buyer's Forum Name:
Item and Price: (optional)
Positive or Negative:
Brief Comments regarding the transaction:

I'm glad you included both buyers and sellers. I've had more trouble with buyers, or non-buyers as the case may be on this site than with sellers.

I'll also suggest, that like ebay or anywhere else one buys or sells things, that until it becomes obvious that there can be no positive resolution, posting any details does a disservice to both parties involved. In other words "Don't shoot from the lip."eye rolling smiley

Seller's Forum Name: garawaspy7 (Garth Posey)
Buyer's Forum Name: Littlebritishcar (me)
Item and Price: Fender - $175 plus shipping and Western Union charges (roughly $270 total)
Positive or Negative: Negative
Brief Comments regarding the transaction: Garth described the fender as being in perfect condition but it was very obvious that there was pre-existing damage which he adamantly denies. I had the damage looked at by a bodywork expert who told me that there is no doubt whatsoever that the damage was not caused by shipping. He told me to file a claim with the post office and refused to refund my money when I asked him.

Buyer's Forum Name: garylum
Item and Price: COMPLETE hs carb setup with linkage, intake, heatshield, spacers, etc
Positive or Negative: NEGATIVE
Brief Comments regarding the transaction:
Seller described carbs as being rebuilt and removed from a 72 mgb. When recieved, only carbs and intake were included. Contacted seller about missing pieces which he said would ship. Still waiting for heatshield and linkage
Upon inspection carbs were AUD52, from a 63-65 mgb NOT 72. Have doubts as to whether they are truly rebuilt
