"Tubby"
Acquired this red gem from Oregon Bob. It is a 79, but with the bottom portion of a 65 transplanted to make it a CB. Stripped, rust free, POR-15, painted and all new or rebuilt underneath.

Bob regretfully passed it on to me to finish. I am hoping that my low expectations can rise to meet his high levels of quality to date.

I got a newly rebuilt V-6 engine, and a T-5 transmission with the car. I am in the process of making the conversion kit work on an engine it was not designed to fit.

My hopes are to have a nice looking, freeway compatible, and still a coastal curve chasing car. I would like something quiet, with longer legs, and moderate power increase over the I-4 engines and 4 speed trans.

Time will tell, watch for details
