The car was finally returned to daily service in June 2011...only about 10 years after I bought it. I had no experience, did everything myself, and learned a lot! Next time it won't take so long. I love driving the car at last - it's a thrill!

The body number indicates "Orient Red" but there is almost no trace of red on the car. Stripping revealed Black (primer), red (on some panels - primer?) then light and dark blue (believe it was mineral blue once) then red primer (?), tan, white and then maroon...about 8 layers!

One odd thing - the car title says "HDK" but it should be "HKD" I think...typo at the registry in PA I think.

Previous owners were Arthur D. Griffith of Phoenixville, PA and Kenneth W. Fuller of Westchester, PA.
