Registry: 1959 MG MGA 1500

My father bought this car shortly before going to Vietnam in 1971. He drove it from California to Ohio, ending up in Maine. We brought the car back from Maine to Oklahoma in 1980. In 1981 it was moved to Colorado, in 1990 it went to Florida. I only got to ride in it once in 1989. The gas tank was rusted, so we hooked up a gas can to the gas line and went for a spin down the road and back. I was hooked! The car returned to Colorado in ~1997. I was able to talk my dad out of the car in the spring of 2004 and I was able to start it up for the first time this last summer. My son and I enjoy our time working on the car and taking it for a drive. My wife even enjoyed the little rally did w/ the local car club.
