Come'on boys and girls, say somethig about this sweet 'A' She is a reliable driver that turns heads everywhere---but isn't so precious that we can't tear around the mtns w/ abandon and have people lean over looking it over w/o being terrified of it being marred--I got news--its already scratched up! But who cares, there's not one ding anywhere! Chrome is especially perfect (I hate dinged chrome)--It's all original folks.
It doesn't look like we emptied the 'Moss' catalogue!

This 'A' was a frame off-in 70's w/ MGB engine conversion. every mechanical sorted out by specialists w/ all receipts showing how under water I (we) all are on these cars.
The Good: Presentable cosmetic condition with no dents or dings in paint, just some light scrapes and dull finish, but lends character. Glass perfect. Solid walnut dash. New Brooklands steering wheel. All britework excellent--no dings. Optional chrome boot rack, wing mirrors and badge bar. Leather seats in good condition--no splits or tears w/ new door rubber seals. Has fiberglass hardtop. Side curtains w/ tan storage bag, canvas tonneau. New moss insulated tan carpet w/ ribbed alum scuff plate set. Black Conv. top is flawless. New Moss all-weather cover. Mechanics: New king pins, frnt end completely disassembled and rebuilt. Rear suspension rebuilt w/ leaf springs, Armstrong struts. New Interstate 12v battery conversion, new brakes, new radiator & Petronix elec ignition. New clutch, when engine removed and sealed. New Vredestein 165/80/15 tires. All dash/lighting electrics working order. Solid floors. Recent stainless exhaust. Good acceleration w/o smoking, good low end torque w/ upgraded MGB engine and tranny w/ syncro in 1st gear--SU's trouble free. Always starts up and drives straight and true. Hugs the road w/new front end--exceptionally smooth ride for MGA--easy on the back w/ new rear upgrades and tires.
The Bad: Inner rocker rusted out. Some minor oil dripping due to usual blow-by. Compression and leak down tests were not perfect, so not an ideal interstate cruiser but who's driving interstates at 80mph? Low end spunk is what these cars are about!
A fun Sunday driver that always turns heads. And, best of all it is all sorted out!
Needs nothing-- except someone to adopt her & keep those upgrades coming!
