"Lucky B"

The car was in fairly good shape and had some rust when purchased in 2006. Somewhere in the 33 years the car was painted (not very good) red. We purchase the B off of ebay and it was located 125 miles away in Vero Beach. It stated that the car was running. It made the trip home great, burned a little oil and what was going to be a cosmetic retoration turned into a total makeover by choice over 5 1/2 years. The car is up and running. Everything mechanical has been rebuilt or gone over. The exterior has been painted (we kept the red) and the interior has been retored in black (seats and carpet). The seats have been recovered in leather, dash cover installed, vinyl interior renew, interior panels replace, stereo intalled, luggage rack added, carpet in trunk installed, wood steering wheel and gear shift knob installed. We did replace the hood because it had some pits that rusted through and did not have a good repair job. We found it less expensive to purchase a new hood. The pervious owner has replaced the carpet and top and we able to reuse these. We did not do a frame off restoration.
