This car was restored in Tucson AZ in 1995. The exterior was repainted to the orginal factory color. The engine was rebuilt and the head was replaced with a new version w/the hardened exhast valve seats. The Transmission was swapped out for the full syncro version. At the time the owner didn't want the overdrive it was not reinstalled. The car is wired for it. One can be installed. It's top still looks new as does the tonneau cover. It has wire wheels w/knock offs. The car has been converted to NEGITIVE earth W/one series 21 , 12 volt battery the fits in battery compartment.

Is the car running? what shape is the interior? What about rust? rocker panels, engine comaprtment? what is the history of the car?

The car is running, it is in great shape. rocker panels are solid no rust.same with engine compartment. Car was restored in 1995. exterior paint was resored with original color. shines like new. The interior shows minor wear no rips or tears in the seats . carpets good all replaced in 1995. The engine was repaced with newer rebuild model the transmission was replaced with the newer non-overdrive full syncro 4 speed. I took ownership in 2008 were it was shipped from tucson to colorado. I have had it in storage sense then. It is close to show car looks.

I would like to get close to 10 to 11 thousand for it. I think it could get more. Its in that good of shape.

By installing a newer all syncro trans , is the shift lever moved back
on tunnel as 1968 or later

No the shifter is in the same position.
