Thanks for your note, Automatic's are really hard to find on the 4 cyl's and since they are 3 speeds they are horribly slow and annoying. The 4 speed's with overdrive are way better since you have 6 effective speeds (1 real overdrive gear). This car is era correct but heavily modified, it has overdrive, 1 3/4 SU carbs, header, paco exhaust, alum hood, mini lights, ported and polished head, arp engine fasteners, oversized radiator, a very trick panhard rod bar in the back which is a huge handling upgrade and adjustable, cambered a arms up front poly bushings throughout etc etc. Runs very well. It also has its original seats in very nice shape and racing seats (belts to match each as well) each bolt in and out depending on what i'm up for. Its also painted alfa romeo silver from the spyders. Its not really for sale but if you wanted it I would consider selling it and building another one maybe I would try restoring my old MGC GT chassis I have...
Hi, thanks for the reply and info. Sounds you have a wonderful car and have spent a lot time and effort one. I looked at an MGC that was taken apart http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/3621314313.html
Unfortunately I don't have the time to do any of the work so it was going to get costly to get everything back in order. Not sure what you would be looking for on your car? I wish I had a little more time and equipment to work on cars which is my dilemma. I probably only want to pay for something that does not exist unless I put the effort into it. Anyway let me know your thoughts and I always enjoy hearing from someone who enjoys similar cars. Jeremy
