THOUGHTFULLY SORTED 1968 MGB GT MK II

This GT is a solid, long time southwest driver and comes with a binder full of receipts totaling over 25K spent over the last 20 years. It was always stored inside and it shows. New Alpine stereo/CD player/iPhone and Pandora. The car is accompanied with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate.

GENERAL IMPRESSIONS:
The car is straight with a nice stance, excellent quality bright work, and no rust, dents or dings. It has the original Bluemel three spoke steering wheel, LE alloy wheels, Crane electronic ignition and is fitted with a Weber carburetor. Recently all of the necessary service was performed including oil change, tune-up, new fluids, new battery, new intake grille with mesh, Euro spec tail lights, and new rear leaf springs. All of the gauges, washer jets and the wipers work. The door gaps are nice and even.

INTERIOR:
The red cockpit is stunning against the Old English white exterior. It currently sports new bright red carpet, over Dynamat and jute padding. The seats are new red leather with white piping from England, new correct light gray headliner and visors. All professionally installed.

DRIVING IMPRESSIONS:
The clutch engages smoothly and the car runs straight. All the shocks keep the wheels properly planted and offer a firm comfortable ride. The car responds to all input in a very nice fashion, handling is predictable and easy to control.

SUMMARY:
It is fun to drive, starts right up and has enough power to pull hills and enjoy the twisty two lanes. It will certainly attract admirers whether parked or driven. Overall, it shows as a excellent vintage vehicle that displays the care it has received over the years. You can certainly find a less expensive GT, but not one nearly as nice.
