"Vintage Race Car"
This 1967 MGB GT Special (Chassis GHD3L/110750) is finished in British Racing Green with livery similar to the 1967-69 BMC works cars that raced at Sebring and the Targa Florio. Originally an SCCA race car, it has been raced in VRG and VSCCA events for the past four years. The car was last raced on Labor Day 2011 at the Lime Rock Vintage Festival, and is aesthetically and mechanically very period correct. It is well developed and features:

· Banjo Rear Axle with 3.90 welded differential
· Panhard Rod
· Carrera Adjustable Rear Shocks
· 7/8th inch Front Sway Bar with Solid Aluminum mounts
· Competition Front Dampers
· Late Model MGB Dual Master Cylinder
· Brembo Front Discs with Hawk Blue pads
· Carbotech Rear Brake Shoes
· On Board Fire Suppression System
· 14 X 5.5 Alloy Center Lock Wheels
· Toyo Proxes R-888 205R/14 Tires
The interior features a full roll-cage and a ButlerBuilt aluminum racing seat with G-Force FIA 5-point quick release harness valid through 2013. Also inside are a full-width Wink mirror and a Schroth window net. Glass has all been removed for weight savings, and the windscreen is now Lexan and the rear quarter and hatch windows plexiglas. A 10 gallon ATL fuel cell is handled with a Holley fuel pump.
The 1800cc 18V engine features all the right components including:
· Ported & polished head
· K & E Flat top pistons
· Carrillo Rods
· 3 to 1 Header
· 45 DCOE Twin Choke Weber carburetor
· TMS 18 Billet Cam
· Cross Drilled & Hardened Crankshaft

· 13 Row Mocal Oil Cooler mounted behind lower valance
· Rev limiter

The transmission is an early, 3-synch close-ratio box with Type D overdrive.
