I bought this in Ontario after stumbling across it on Kijiji. It's been a lot of fun, but I will likely be looking to move it along to a new home in the coming months, so drop me a line if you are interested.

It is, apart from a respray in its original color, a quite original and low mileage car. The color is my new favorite, Snowberry White, which really looks like an extremely light Pale Primrose Yellow to my eyes. It still sports all of its original emissions equipment, including the carb cooling fan and Otter switch, not to mention the under-dash panels, the leather steering wheel cover, the Kangol Magnet belts, and the '69-only Chiclet headrests.

Shortly after buying it, I sorted out its major needs, fitted some new tires, and hit the road to Atlanta via the Blur Ridge Parkway. What a great trip! 2,500 miles there and back and the car performed flawlessly. The automatic transmission gave some trouble immediately afterwards, but an adjustment to the rear band resolved it. Speaking of which, the automatic is, to my surprise, a nice complement to the character of the car. I tend to be a manual transmission person, but the MGC makes for an excellent Grand Tourer when fitted with the Automatic.

Since that trip, I have been sorting it out. I still need to do my best to detail the engine bay, plus straighten out a few things. To begin, the car will need new/rebuilt brake boosters, as it came with two Lockheeds. One is not installed, and the other doesn't seem to be supplying much power assist, likely due to dry-rotted vacuum hoses, so I have disconnected it. Windshield and backlight trim needs to be installed, and I may also send the wheels down to Hendrix to be trued, but I think that a proper balance is all they really need.
