I know some of you are into these. If I was, this one could light a spark. Nice resto and clean mods. Lives down the street from me. (Don't know about the $14K) Bus in last pic is daily driver for college kid four houses down.

at auction some of those go for silly money. that PU, for instance. I'd expect to see near $30K at least. Not many of the pickups were sold originally and damn few left.

I used to tow a Cooper-Alfa race car (FB) using one of those back in 66. All over the east coast. had to be patient!

The 14k on the pick up should suffice as the deposit, prior to the full balance being paid.

14K, check RM auctions one went for I think $189,000, a fluke? 6 months later another went for $120,00. Both cherry and early 60's.

My dad had the crew cab 3-door version when I was a kid.

Memories of mom, dad, me, two sisters and a fishing boat in tow going to Bucks lake in the summer. No A/C, steep grades and dirt roads.

It ws a different time........

"Now the problem you have is that when you have the unerring certainty of machinery, it is a machine. When something has foibles, it won’t handle properly, that gives it a particularly human quality because it makes mistakes. And that’s how you can build a relationship with a car that other people won’t get."
