OK, the roads have been rain washed of salt, so let's drive!cool smiley

We'll meet at 12:30 today, Saturday, January 14 at

Dunkin Donuts
1500 Brayton Ave (corner of Brayton Ave, Father Devalles Blvd, Eastern Ave, and Martine St)

Directions to the starting point:

195 to Rt 24 South in Fall River. Take Exit 2, then right on Brayton Ave. Go about 1.4 Mile and the Dunkin Donuts will be on your left.

Maybe Sakonnet Point, maybe north Freetown, Berkley, Dighton, maybe ??????

Hope to see you there!

Cheers,

Our last minute coffee run today was just Jim (JDevol) and me. (We really didn't expect anyone considering just the 2 hour prior notice.) After meeting up, over coffee we realized that Jim hadn't remembered to get his brake lights working, so we opted for a back road drive to his garage. Unfortunately the "roads less traveled" we chose were the roads through Freetown State Forest (which were bad when I last drove them 20+ years ago).sad smiley Well, they had deteriorated much more.eye popping smiley But after we slowly picked our way around the holes, rocks, and broken pavement, our route improved once out of the forest.thumbs up

And after a little tracing with a test light back in the garage, Jim now has brake lights again.thumbs up

After leaving Jim's, I determined the day was much too nice not to take the long route home, and the odometer registered 96 miles as I drove into the garage.cool smiley

Below is another fuzzy pic (sorry, it was bumpy!) of Jim as he picks the clean line down Yellow Hill Road.

And my GT outside the Wilbur's general store in Little Compton.

Cheers,

Rick
