Yes hope to meet up with some of you guys. Will be in my wife's car. Block party is great on Friday eve, we will be visiting the show saturday and sunday. Sometime we will be up at the Ye Olde England Inn, haveing a pint, just down the road before the entrance to field on Mountain Road.

Great to see you all in Wareham last night, thanks for the fun conversation and the little cruise down the world's straightest roads with the world's lowest speed limits... It was nice to have a "double the speed limitt pass" LOL

Really we had a great time.

As I recall, it didn't take very long for the temp to go from the 40s to the 80s that day. I hope the weather is as good this year!

Yeah that was right after our first Left Hand Turn, just before we ran into the Prius Parade.

Talk about killing the spirit! I imagine driving behind a Prius all day would justify both homicide and suicide in Peter's eyes.

So two men, obviously angry with each other step up to the Pearly Gates at the same time.
The first has strangulation marks around his neck. The second had a massive coronary while strangling the first.
Peter says You guys can't come in if you are so angry, now what's the trouble?

The first guy says "I was driving along minding my own business and this guy got all upset when I slowed down.
I didn't think it was safe for him to pass me driving such an old piece of junk, I was looking out for his best interest.
I was going fast enough. I think the guy is a real problem!"

I see says Peter, then he looks at the second guy. "So what's your story?"

"I was out for a nice spirited cruise in my MG."

"What was he driving?" interrupts Peter.

"A baby blue Prius."

"Say no more," says Peter as he opens the gates.

Just then Joseph Lucas "poofs' onto the scene and taps the Prius owner on the shoulder. "Come with me." he says, I've been working on the Prius' electrical systems." and they disappear.

Peter looks at the MG guy and as they walk through the gates they say in unison "Special place in Hell."

I noticed that a few people from the MGE are attending the Cape Cod British Car Club's British Legends Weekend on Cape Cod, MA on October 5 - 7, 2012. Last I looked, Barry (hump2), Joe (jsabatino), James (jatbw4), Perry (parsprite), and myself, Rick (oldredsel) have all preregistered.

Car show in NJ one minute off GSP exit 67 Barnegat, NJ October 20 9am registration. At Bayside Chapel parking lot, blacktop of course. $ 10 fee to local needy fund with church. Easy to get to from west, Take 70 or 38 east to 72 circle. 72 east towards shore, 20 miles or so, left onto 554, church five miles on right. Nice drive through pinelands weather permitting. Not too bad here in Newport. We were lucky.. Decided to drive down town on Sunday afternoon "top down" to pick my wife up from work. Stopped at the pub to wait for her and all the folks could say was "you must have a screw loose".. looked outside and a I very heavy drizzle was coming down.
