If anyone's interested, Friday, July 8, is the Rolling Sculpture Car Show in downtown Ann Arbor, MI. All types of cars, including a good representation of LBCs, take part in this event. The venue is great - up to 400 cars parked along several downtown streets and an abundance of great places to eat, including outdoor cafe-style.

It's too late to pre-register but you can register for $20 at the event. I have had my GT in this event for the past three years, my office is just a block away, and this event actually sparked my return to MG-madness.

Hope some of you can attend, either as entrants or visitors.

A really unique event not to be missed. Have participated many times with my B-GT, TD, or vintage race Midget. Hope to meet up with several MG folks just before and get parked together. Anyone else going? Let's set up a rendezvous point. Need to be there pretty early to not get shunted to a corner of a side street or alley.

John, as of right now, I'm pre-registered and planning to be there. What's a good meetup point for you? Are you coming in my I-94 or Jackson Rd?

For anyone who hasn't pre-registered, the entry point is at Fifth & Washington and you must arrive between 2-6 PM for staging. Fifth is one-way southbound and is closed due to construction one block south of there. I would suggest coming in by Huron Ave. and turning south on Fifth, but something always changes by the time I show up. Fourth is supposed to remain open for 2-way traffic, so you could also take that to Huron.

The venue remains open until 10 PM, but you may leave early if necessary (at some inconvenience to yourself and others).

Hope to see some of you there.

Another great car event in downtown Ann Arbor! There were at least 29 LBCs that I took pictures of, and I did get to meet John Deikis (Johnsfolly), who had his MG-TD there. The usual marques were well represented, including 4 Morgans and no less than 5 Bugeye Sprites. MGs beat Triumph by 7 to 4 (based on the pictures I took).

Had some great conversations with several car owners.

Looking forward to Battle of the Brits in September.
