The August Clowes Cruise - updated 2/10 #1

Day 1 Route is set and confirmed - 175miles and around 3.5 hours of actual drive time.
Several planned stops along the way, with the option of others unplanned as well.

Night 1 (optional) Woodburn Super-8 (same place as 2010 first night). Leave around 0830 one car at a time spaced 1 minute apart (hey parts are run as a Vintage style Rally).

Nothing confirmed for the motal at the end of Day 1 - in negotiations with 2, and details will be posted once confirmed.

Day 2 Route set and just needs route instructions created. Remember these maybe be rally style, questions or scavenger clues.

The stop at the end of Day 2 is set - Sumpter Bed and Breakfast (watch for deer on the back patio in ther early morning). The website is http://www.sumpterbb.com/

Day 3 route is planned but not confirmed as some roads wont be open until late May (darned snow). More posted as confirmed

OK Motel for second night is confirmed, it is City Center Motel 509 Northeast 3rd Street Prineville, OR 97754
(541) 447-5522. When making a booking tell them it's the Clowes Cruise as all rooms should be in one group.

A group rate of $45.00 plus tax for a single room with one queen size bed. $51.00 plus tax for a room with two queen size beds. All rooms have fridges, microwaves, in room coffee and wifi.

Last section of road has been checked, and is ready to run. Just trying to work out exact route instructions - where to run as cruise, where to run as scavenger Hunt and where to run as a Vintage Rally.

So now all we need is numbers, si I know how many sets to print out

The August Cruise has had to be postponed, as it looks like I will not be in the state at the time - unfortunatewly I wont know until early August which would be too late to cancel bookings.

Sorry everyone, but work has to come first =- gotta keep feeding the B that oil..
