Dean and Trish Harrison's Fuzzy Bugger Strikes Again is in the record books once again, and a fine event it was as usual.
The effort these guys put into this event shows, and the fun nature of it is fast becoming legendary.
Fewer crews than usual participated this year, on an uncharacteristic cool cloudy day, and fewer pieces of domestic iron as steeds.
The point gaps between finishers was also much tighter than usual, with only 17 penalties or so separating the first 5 crews.
Trevor Beatson in his TR6 and Mike Coe in his TR8 were the only solo crews, and in the words of our rally master Dean, this year the Triumph's................didn't.
The spoils went to Andy Hardie and Donna Messier in their trusty '72 Midget, with Mike and Ardith Holtz ( YES.........in the same car.......Ardith's MGB ) only a few points behind, Andy and Donna's zero time penalties being the deciding factor.
Our newish members Ron and Sonya ? In their brown rubber bumper MGB completed the podium with Parkers ( this year in their TD ) and Azim and Helen not far behind in their '73 MGB.
This is the first time this event has been won by a crew driving a British car, and the first in an MG more specifically.
Kudos has to go to Dean and Trish for another wonderful event. Well done you two.
A picture of the victors ( before they knew they had won ) angling for some Moss Motoring Challenge points.
