Just wondering if any of you would likely be going to the ABFM at Van Duesen Gardens on May 17th.
There is the added bonus of the Vancouver to Whistler all British Run on the Sunday.

There are a few of us making the trip from Edmonton, though it looks like a one stop run out for some on the Friday.
It would be nice to see some familiar faces at the show and maybe in Whistler too.

Food for thought maybe!

The Corvalis group will be doing Brits on the Beach in July this year, so not sure any of us will be going to Vancouver ( tired of getting snowed on, on the trip out smiling smiley ). Other members may chime in otherwise though.

At least a couple of us from Regina are planning to make the trip, Mike. You may remember us from BritsBest last year. Perhaps we can meet up somewhare along the way. Have you fixed on a route yet?

Ah.. the Jag men from Regina.... no I can't think who you could be.....

We have a route heading out on a one day run Friday Morning along Highway 16 Through Jasper etc.
We intend to gather at Acheson Petro about 0530 (Hwy60 / 16 Junc)

If you are Running Highway 1, we could meet up in Kamloops, I am hoping we have enough time to run down the Fraser Canyon through Cache Creek, that of course being dependant on having no issues in the convoy.
Currently we have 3 confirmed (booked)(2 MGF's and MGB) and a couple of potentials. Hotel is the Sandman. We are also up for the All British Whistler Run on the Sunday with the return run on Monday.
More info on MGE Modern MG`s Forum

Looking forward to seeing you all there.

We were thinking of overnighting in Calgary so the run to Kamloops might be close to yours. On the other hand, breaking it up into a couple of days with a stop in Kelowna is still a possibility. What info do you have on the Whistler run on Sunday? Would you be going back to Van afterwards or jumping off from there on the way home?

Tom, the Whistler run is a one way deal as far as organization is concerned. You can elect to stay in Whistler at the end of the run ( they will have some hotel rooms blocked for participants ) and early arrivals in Whistler will get first dibs on the limited spaces on Olympic Plaza for an impromptu car show. This is of course only if you pay the entry fee for the run. There is nothing stopping you from just tagging along I suppose.
You may then return to Vancouver on your own, or, as Holtz's, my son and I did a couple years ago, exit the west coast by way of the "Duffy Lake Road" via Pemberton and Lilloett.

All the info you require is on the ABFM web site, which can be accessed from the Calgary MG Car Club web calendar.

We will be doing the Whistler run and heading home from there. The adventure is coming together with at least one more joining up from Saskatoon and hopefully we will meet up with some Calgary folks as well. We have a number of route suggestions and there is no doubt it will be great. All ideas welcome.
