Hi folks,

It's been a while since any updates on this club thought. We were looking forward to meeting some southern ontario MGer's at Rockton's first annual flea market. It did not materialize, and we'll hope for 2011.

This logo was designed by Skye and myself.The idea was to be able to identify ourselves at Rockton as the first event.

I personally do not belong to any other British Car Club @ the present time.I enjoy the present technical benefits as a member of the MGE.
There is quite a few folks in the southern Ontario area who also frequent the MGE.I think using the Club section of this site is a great opportunity to get MGE Niagara moving forward.
Where it goes depends on the interests of all of us. It doesn't need to be as formal as other clubs, and could be for social runs only!

It would be nice to know how many are interested in moving this idea forward. Please send your thoughts to myself @ ron_hendry@hotmail.com

Good looking insignia. Try removing the black bar between the MGE and the word NIAGARA Think it would make it look more open and eye appealing

Don...When I suggested to Skye to add Niagara to MGE...the boxes overlapped. I'll have it revised.

Resembles a barn Ron. How about putting it all inside a big octagon with maybe Niagara at top and Ontario at bottom?

Doubt it, there are lots of logos that incorporate an octagon. I think the only way there would be a copywrite infringement, is if it is exactly the same, or you were using that logo to flog merchandise without permission.

Thanks, Don. The middle one, I was trying to go with that nostalgic look, as in the pic, withought getting too elaborate. The colouring isn't quite right and the little lines inside, I'll have to experiement with.

You're right, though, I kinda like the first one myself, although that last one pops a little more.

I'll play around some more and see what develops.

Well, I can take the design over to where I got my hood decals done and ask them what it would cost to make some up. How many do you think we'd need? Or do you think we should pursue that idea? Maybe run it by Skye first?
