First drive of 2012

Since the day was sunny for once on the coast, I decided to load up my wingman in the RV8 and go for a drive. I had to tell him there'd be a walk involved so he eagerly joined up. What a soldier!

Couple of photos attached. I don't think he was quite as enthused as I'd hoped for in pic #1....and that was after the walk. Maybe he was just priming himself for his afternoon nap.

Took my first drive, a couple of days ago, the streets are dry most places, so only went a few blocks. Car started right up, smiling smiley, today I went out for about 45 min. There is still a ton of snow in my back yard, and that is down by half compared to what was there a week or so ago!!! I love that the weather has finally turned for the better smiling smiley

Funny you should mention Steve, Rich. I was on my way home from a visit with him. He wasn't napping while I was there but can't vouch for him after I left. smiling smiley

Nice pictures Simon.

Saturday we took the F to get the Spitfire out of storage. MY wife's face was hurting by the time she got home from smiling, she had so much fun.

Good to hear the cars are coming out. I've been watching the weather in Southern ON. Quite the early taste of summer in March.

Get out and drive them, lads! That's what they were built for.
