I have been fighting a cold!! Had planned to continue stripping No 4 for paint but just couldn't get the energy level up!!!

Hopefully tomorrow!!

Rich, you look very happy but shouldn't you be helping the missus with the turkey dinner!!!

Dinner was yesterday so today I got to send my dear Mother back to Ontario......and then cut the grass.

Car-related....nothing. I did look at them though.

Oh, not quite true. I did take aforementioned Mother for a ride in the RV8 yesterday. That should keep this post on-topic. smiling smiley

Hey Rich,

If you don't mind me asking where did you get your trophy spoiler from and what did it cost you? I was going to source one from the UK but the shipping was prohibitive

Simon...You may regret that invitation! grinning smiley

Craig, I got the spoiler from Brown and Gammons in the UK.
Shipping was expensive. If I recall it cost me 95.GBP shipping for the spoiler and mirrors,
so it would probably be double that to Aus.
My wife just about flipped when the box arrived-six feet tall and a foot across!
There was no hiding that one!

Yeah, Sometimes I struggle with that too, you can imagine my wife's reaction when my new race motor turned up out of the blue. Do you happen to know if B&G do a KH style splitter as well?

I got my splitter from Moto-Build Racing. Good price, Good Service.
I would have got the Trophy spoiler from them but they couldn't source one.

Nice Rich. I personally think the car looks better with the spoiler, but then that's the way I see the car every day.

My step-son was home from college this weekend and we went for a long drive in the F.

Nice lift Simon. I wish I had the height in the garage for a lift. I wish I had room in the garage to walk around the three cars that are stuffed into a two car garage.

I wish I had a garage!sad smiley

I painted the spoiler in a matt black primer and it looks so good I am almost tempted to just give it a matt clear coat and leave it that way. I say almost as I have already ordered the vinyl.
At least if don't care for the vinyl I have a plan "B"!

Thanks Mark. Always wanted one. Biggest reason (for me anyway) for buying this house last year was the tall ceilings and the ability to install a lift.

I have staff to look after the man-cave. I told them I'd be back tomorrow for a review. Looks like it won't be a glowing report.
