Mowog,
As a matter of fact, when installing a voltage regulator, remember seeing red under there. Closer inspection should tell whether its the same or close to the outside color.

Buy the way, have seen 'MOWOG' on some parts, what does it stand for????

Hi Steve

Yes same man built the car. One thing your brakes are disc all round I think do you have the details on the calipers.

No, they are drum rear. MBL is near me and one of these days I plan to crawl under her to see if I can identify the rear disc components, then replicate them if possible. I doubt I will do it since the drums are more than adequate.

Steve

My drum brakes are showing the limits on the track, however I think the front calipers are more important at my level.
I have ordered some drilled and groved rotors so we shall see.
MBL has special calipers I don't think they are any others like them.
Have put some details on Journal site

MBL's rear calipers had to come from somewhere, even if they were modified. I'd bet money they weren't cast special for only two cars. The axle was probably customized heavily to accept the rotors though.

I don't race my C so the stock brakes are more than adequate. With EBC pads I can get a bit of brake smell on a very steep, very twisty downhill canyon run. But I'm never pushing them like that for more than 10-15 minutes and I have yet to experience fade. If I figure out something with MBL I'll let you know. It won't be in the next month however since I'll be too busy with work.

Mine is still waiting to be approved and purchased. I'm thinking now isn't a good time to ask.
