Keep an eye out for a BRG 'C GT' heading east from New Brunswick to British Columbia on the Trans Canada Highway. Only 6000 km to get there.

Leaving on Friday morning. Planning to do about 800 km (500 mi) a day. SWMBO will be travelling with me so I'll have to keep the driving reasonable. No 12 hours a day driving sessions like I do when I'm on my own.

I hear a C is a lot smoother than a B but done that in a B and put a couple 500 mile days together and you will know it. We did MG 2015 , 300-350 is more comfortable.

First day down. 800km to Quebec city.

It seems the SeaFoam I put in the oil has loosened things up a bit. The rear main seal is now leaking under pressure. Oh well, stop every couple hours and throw some oil into the beast. Got a couple jugs in the car and there's lots more where they came from.

The C is great on the highway. Very planted and it really wants to go. Very hard to keep my foot out of it.

Day Two done. Another 900 km to Burlington, Ontario.

Not much to take pictures of, gas stations, rain, millions of tail lights on the 401 in Toronto.

Back on the road again after a couple days in the Toronto area. Departed Burlington this morning and made it to Sault St. Marie. Only 700 km and a bit today.

The transmission seems to be leaking now too but much less than the engine. I have the best anti-rust treatment on the underside of the C.

Day Four down. Sault St. Marie to Thunder Bay. Another 700km day. More trees and rocks with the occasional view of Lake Superior.

I forgot to mention, my C has been Schlemmerized. Noticeable difference. It was much easier to set up the SUs and it runs so much smoother.

Day Five away now too. Another 700+ km. In Winnipeg overnight.

I can't believe that Ontario keeps their speed limit at 90kph on the Trans-Canada highway once the divided highway ends north of Toronto. Passed by the cops doing 110kph a couple times. They didn't seem to mind. I guess they see the foolishness of such a low speed limit too.

Saw a wolf (alive) on the side of the road in western Ontario today. First time for one of those.

Day 6 and the Magic C keeps pounding on. Another 750km.

I can't believe this car. It's in serious need of a rebuild, engine, xsmn and body but it just keeps on going. I keep throwing fuel and oil into it and away we go again. It's starting to look like one of those rally cars. I'm going to have to give it a quick spray wash.

Two more days to go.
