About 2 months behind where I thought I'd be, but ready to start paint on bottom, engine bay, cockpit, tomorrow.
Used PPG DP epoxy primer, then Wurth stoneguard on bottom. Still have to final block sand the outside panels, then
plan to have a body shop spray the outside panels in a booth, after I get it back on its wheels.
Will do brake and fuel lines, and harness while still on rotisserie. Gettin' too old to be on ground working upside down!

Nice work! That's going to be a very sweet restoration. I see good attention to detail such as the floor soundproofing.

Very nice work, did you do all the sheet metal work yourself? Like your rotisserie. Where did you get the sound deadening material or did you cut it to fit?

Thats very impressive! How long did that take? Did you replace that passenger side panel under the wing or repair it?

Looks fantastic! Well done!

Good job Dana - ditto on the above questions - my GTS project has come to a grinding halt as donor car is swiss cheese after meadia blasting - into it for 4K now & thinking of giving it a viking funeral! Looking for another GT shell or good rolling job to attack!

Thanks all,
All sheetmetal was new Heritage, courtesy of Capt. Kirk except the "A" pillar, which came from VB, (also heritage, but they don't list it as such).
I had to use a donor MGB for a few pieces not made. I did all the work with a mig and an old Miller spot welder wherever I could reach with it.
Bought the car in spring 2011, and worked pretty steady on it in hopes of making it to the CBA at the GLEN.
Painted all but the outside sheetmetal today, and I think it came out great. We looked long and hard at all the British Racing Greens, and chose the BR "new" Green that Jaguar used in early 70's. Will post pic's later.
All the mechanical parts have been restored, and chrome all done, so soon it'll be like putting together a BIG model car kit!
