im after a us made amco mgb / mgc grill bar as pictured below

Hi Dom....

I know you have explained which one you are looking for but I believe the one you have illustrated is not from an MGB/MGC. Brackets orientated the wrong way and shape too tall....maybe MGA....???

These pop up on Ebay once in a blue moon which is how I got my current NOS never used one ($201.00 a few years back). Another I found still in the original box at the MG'96 parking lot flea market for $25.00. Will keep an eye out for one over here for you.....

Hi Mark,

Tubing is 1" OD....wall thickness is about .075"..... if you decide to try and fabricate one let me know and I will provide as many dimensions as I can.

If you are thinking about bidding on the one Koby found on Ebay it is only 30 miles from where we live and we are in Fort Wayne often. Should you want it checked out before spending the money let me know....would be glad to do so.

Imagine my surprise when I followed up on another item this Ebay vendor had for sale only to suddenly realize that it is a really good friend of mine in Fort Wayne.....Duhhhhh.... should have recognized "mgbtf" seller name..... smiling smiley

Digging around I just found a 1976 MG Mitten Catalogue and in it is the Amco Bumper Guard we have been discussing.....Stock number 5522 retailing for $22.95...!!!!

And, for those following the Amco centre console thread here on MGE......MG Mitten stock number 7229 retailing for $59.95.

Wonder what ever happened to Marion Weber and her business....??????
