Good luck with that. I really want to restore one as well. I gave up on two last year.

I don't know. I (SHHHH) could care less. I'm only going along to make a social event out of this.

I'm really not interested in restoring an A. I love the looks of them, don't get me wrong, but not what I would pick for a project. And I am a bit tired of hearing about selling one of the Bs. Emma is titled to me, and willed away already. She's not going ANYWHERE unless I decide she is...at least until I die. IF someone thinks about selling Binabox, I hope he plans on doing it from his new place of residence.

We don't have the room for another car right now with 2 Bs in the garage, a boat in storage and 2 other vehicles sitting out. I'd like to recover some of the ten thousand+ we spent on Binabox before we start another project.

And I want to extend the back of the garage out 15 feet or so, new furniture in the living room, new cabinets, the family room remodeled, some landscaping done, maybe a 4 seasons room...

So I've asked no questions. Just done the wifey 'eyeroll' thing. HA, and you guys thought I didn't know how to do that!

Boy Rick, ain't that the truth for most of us!?

Just makes more sense to me to extend the garage first, you know? And I have this great red, black & white theme in my head for the family room, with car stuff and maybe that spare engine we have for a coffee table base...

Janel,

If you're going to add to the garage, make sure the addition is big enough. My original garage was 25 x 25 and when we started to acquire the cars I went out back another 25 feet making the total garage size 25 x 50. I did not however take out the wall that was the original rear wall of the forward garage but just cut a wide opening in it. That way I still have basically a two car garage with another two car addition but one that is sort of separated for the front garage. This made a sort of an "L" shape on the house and garage. When we put an addition on later for another room it was a simple matter to carry a wall from that back garage over and then back into the main house. It made a great second family room. Just a thought for you to ponder. If you want more info PM me and I'll get it for you.

Janel, are the words Allan and Fruitland connected to that "A" you found? If so, that one would require restoration but is a good solid driver with no top or carpets and is in red primer as of now.

John, don't know. I asked Chuck, he didn't know either. John Mangles "knows" this car is for sale. I don't know if he knows the owner or how he knows of the car.

So it's a driver hey? What's your guestimate it's worth? I just assumed it was a sitter, not a driver. Hell, I got plenty of drivers.
