The clevis pin fell out of of the clutch yoke at the throw out bearing arm. Just two weeks after putting the car back on the road. Who knew the cotter pin wasn't optional.

A round tree branch of suitable size wasn't available?

Buy a man a plane ticket and he flies for a day,
push a man out of an airplane and he'll fly for the rest of his life.

Believe me, I searched up and down that road for anything that would work. The people in that neighborhood are very tidy.

In reply to # 3609015 by LaVerne I have driven a lot of miles in an LBC with no clutch. Sometimes though stuff happens

I drove about 1/4 of a mile on a country road with out the clutch but then I turned on to a stop and go traffic road. Just too many cars and lights. I gave up and called AAA. Very frustrating that it was simple fix and nothing to fix it with. I even tried using the spring ring off of my keys but I couldn't get it to open far enough to go through the fork. Luckily none of my neighbors were out when I brought the bad girl home.
