I seem to need three hands to open my bonnet of my TF - two to push the buttons and another to pull it up.

How easy should this be, and I believe the catches are adjustable?

Dead easy. But the catches are mysterious things and difficult to set right. I got there by trial and error, but if someone has a surefire method of setting them perfectly I would like to know what it is myself.

Yeah, it's very easy to settle Chris.
It is sufficient to screw or unscrew the cone-shaped top screw.
Take advantage to lubricate the piston inside the pusher. They were seized on mine.
Yours sincerely, Thierry de l'Ardèche, France
