Hi Guys,my question is whether on my 1953 TD the floorboards are fitted to the chassis rails first,followed by the gearbox and propshaft covers or whether the covers go on below the floor boards.I cannot see any gen anywhere in the workshop manual or the T series restoration guide.Any information would be helpful.Ian Angus Wales UK

Ian - See the thread, 55 MG TF Question just below your thread. The TD and TF are the same in regards the drive shaft tunnel and the transmission cover. Drive shaft tunnel mounted below the floorboards and the transmission cover above. Cheers - Dave
