seat bottom hardware

Anybody got a part number or source for the riv-nut like fasteners that the seat rails attach too. I got a new seat bottom and the fasteners put there are, to put it politely, wimpy. Mine pushed out and some were missing. Since there is no Moss part number in the catalog, it does not exist. Need to go to a hardware store or somewhere to try to find some. They look like a top hat with tines to catch the wood and a threaded part (the top hat) where a screw with the proper threads can be inserted to hold the slider mechanism.

Thanks

Sorry can't do a picture at the moment. Seat is assembled and in use.

I believe they are called appropriatly enough "T" nuts. May find some at your local hardware store. Or better yet a Fastenal would be a better choice. Take one with you that fell out. I'm not sure about the thread, if it's something easy to fing or rather odd as the rest of the nuts and bolts are. You might be forced to use a new bolt to match.

I just bought mine at a local TrueValue hardware store. Bring your rail to see what size screw will drop down in the recess. They are t-nuts and flat head machine screws. Very easy to find.
