TD Dash Switches and Wiring

52 MGTD Am trying to replace aftermarket non-standard dash ignition and horn switches with Moss Ignition Swith and Horn Push. The challenge is that my car has an MGB engine, no control Box and new (non original color code) wiring. Although I have a pretty good diagram of how the new wiring is routed to what, the lack of a Control Box is complicating my understanding of how to wire the Ammeter, the Ignition Switch, and Horn Push with the main and dip switch. I have the original MGTD wiring diagram, the diagram from the guy who installed the new wiring (with Fuse Box and Relays). Any additional sources of info and/or advice would be appreciated. Contacted Moss which provided an excellent Info Sheet on the Horn Push but nothing on the Ignition Switch.
Also and FYI: my car has an alternator in lieu of the original generator and it is hooked up via a Moss Gear Reduction and cable to my original tach and works well. The alternator is manufactured by Jerry Felper and uses a Delco 105 Amp alternator. Jerry machines the Tach Drive parts. Jerry is at felperj@earthlink.com
Thanks, Dan

Only thing I'll offer at this point is to examine the wiring very carefully on that horn/dip switch. I too obtained one from Moss a few years back and the color coding was incorrect. I wasn't the only one to get one that way. When pushing the horn it would direct short to ground. Wires needed moved one pole to the left if I remember correctly.
