Le rear bumper kit

One peek equals two finesses in bridge maybe with MG's too. I bought a bumper kit from Moss and it arrived today, great shipping, but I can't figure out how it should go together. Somebody please post a picture of the rear bumper from the top showing what goes where. The bolts don't go thru holes as one would expect and I'm wondering if reaming is required. I am trying to put the bolt thru the curly bracket and even if I did the bolt doesn't fit the shims and I don't understand where shims go.

Currently waiting for a call back from Moss technical support. I hope Peggy knows ........

The "extra" piece between bracket and shims is the luggage rack.

I'm just guessing here, but I think you mean the packing piece that fits between the bumper and the mounting brackets. It goes between the two when you mount the bracket to the bumper. It maintains the shape of the bumper that would otherwise collapse when you tighten up the the bolt. You can just barely see the edge of it in Robert's 3rd picture down on the outside bolt.

Got it done today. Thanks for your response.

Moss Technical Support helped. Bottom line the paint on the curly brace obstructed the bolt. A little gentle persuasion and the bolts popped into place. It is a good kit, but it came sans two nuts which I got locally and to be fair they could have been lost in the packing material.

Done....

Thanks
