Looking for MGB 18G or 18GA to replace a dead 1500. Will also consider a 18GB but would prefer the 3 bolt main.
Would like at least a long block but it can be any condition as long as price reflects condition.
Willing to travel a reasonable distance to PU. home base is 93065

Let me know what you have or your know abouts.

Thanks
Dwight

Dwight, I have two 3-main engines available, one 18G and one 18GA. Complete long block engines.

Dwight: Give a call to a Mr. Reed Nichols at Mountain British Speed in Lake Elsinore Calif. (951) 678-4182. Cell: (951) 796-7919. When I talked to him last he was selling off his parts and parts cars. Good Guy. I hope the fires in Cali have not affected his buildings. smileys with beer

Dwight, I have a 3 bolt main out of a 1964 Roadster, rebuilt and ready to go. I will upload some pics later. It's absolutely complete to the carbs, starter, generator, etc. The only issue is the valve cover is horrible (rusted) but will include it as it works fine. I'd like to get $1500 for the whole thing and will include the mating 3 syncro gearbox if you'd like it.

UPDATE: This engine is now committed.

(too many classic come and go, so I've given up listing them...)

There was one on Craig's list in Van Nuys recently that didn't sell for a couple months before the ad expired. Might want to put a wanted ad up there in case they see it.

There are a couple of rebuilt 3-main engines on ebay right now; closest is in AZ, other one here in CT.
