The Twin Cam register is trying to get the seller to give us the car number but no luck so far. Maybe one of the missing Twin cam cars.

From the photos posted on Facebook, the car's awfully rough, and in one photo, it appears to show that the dash panel behind the motor is badly rusted. It's possible that the car's number plate is gone. .

Is a Twin Cam in that rough condition worth the asking price?

I have 3 or 4 twin cam cars in a project state and I'm looking at selling them all.
I'm located in Indianapolis if anyone is interested.

Not trying to be a jerk, but if you really have “3 or 4” MGA twin cams, would this thread be your first post on MGExp?

Apparently, twin cams grow on trees in Indiana, though I never any when I lived there 35 years ago.

Joe,
The number of missing cars is about 400-600 if I understand the Twin Cam group's figures correctly. That would include T.C. cars and Deluxe models.

Back in the day Sheppard Imports in Tampa had numerous TC engines sitting forlornly after being ripped out and replaced by OHV engines. At the time of sale of dealership they went to the scrap metal yard along with a few four cam Porsche engines. Those Porsche engine are now worth 250K

Eric,

Have you made any inquiry as to the asking prices? Just curious...
