I'm cleaning out my garage after selling my B racer and found this. It has been converted to a one wire configuration if my memory has not failed me. $20 plus shipping.

Those are slick little alternators. Have one on my Morris, works great.



Who's version of right are we talking about? When you get 10 LBC owners in a room you'll get 12 different answers.

I googled Denso 18504-6220 and a couple of sources listed it as 12VDC and 40Amp.

That is a pretty common alternator on eBay and Amazon, though not at that price. They are available up to 60 amps.

The only problem is in sum applications there can be a pulley alignment issue. That can be resolved by trimming the back of the foot.

Here is a link to the install on my Morris. You can see where I trimmed the back of the foot to the parting line for the casting. A simple task.
