Completely gone through with synchronizers, seals, and any thing else it might need in the future. So it's like new. Sought after .745 final gear for great highway cruising.

I can provide photos, but only if there's interest. It's bagged, and stored at this point.

If interested PM me, and we can discuss details.

Wrightgcbuilders Dan never list with a given a price! I feel if you cant list a price with your parts, I just move on. I wish the rules were changed where you have to list a price.

It's mandatory on many of the Land Rover forums I frequent. Then again, those guys don't pull any punches and will call you out!

' Agree totally with Glenn. No price, no interest. I've done this twice. Last time it was $845 with a warranty. I understand the hope that somebody will offer way more than you have in it, But those offering way more may expect way more. That can haunt you for life.

State a price - at least a ball-park price. I could stand to have another of these. The Rivergate kits are fantastic! But not another word from me until you suggest a price.

Thanks!

Allen, I don't know where you came up with the price, as I never quoted anyone a figure of that for a 280ZX 5 speed. Especially one completely rebuilt, not just replacing seals.

I do not list a price because not everyone wants to let the world know what they buy it for. And, for you lookie lou's, yes I wish you would move on.

Because we ask a price we are lookie lou's? I happen to operate a repair shop and have many customers who could benefit from this conversion. If I knew the price you wanted for it, then perhaps I would buy it and use it in the future for a customer. It's a nice unit you have there, well done.
A simple asking price man, that's all we're asking for. Geez, nothing like making things more difficult than they need to be.

All it takes is a simple PM.

The Rivergate kit calls for a certain length of the cylinder/sleeve the TO bearing rides on. Wrong length, clutch no work right. There weree several different stock Datsun sleeve lengths. A matter that will need to be researched at one point.

Hi Dan,

' Sorry I offended you. Not intended. The price I mentioned is what I paid to Rivergate for a rebuilt transmission with a one-year warranty. They are no longer offering these as the supply seems to be drying up. I'm sure with dwindling supply, prices are on the upswing. It's a great unit and I hope you find a buyer. I mentioned my preference for sellers who state prices, so I'll move on. Sooner or later, I'll find what I want.

Oh... and what is a "lookie lou"?

Cheers,
Allen
