I have an mga frame in the barn. Will take a look and see what condition the portion of the frame you are looking for is in.

You might try Clarke Spares - they make a lot of stuff like that...

I made some. I bought some 2" square tube, cut out the side where it makes the S bend and welded in some 14 ga steel cut to the S shape. I clamped the cut square tube to a jig I made.

Eric,

that's great - can you send me the dimensions for the fixture you made.

I don't think I saved the jig - it was just some scrap subfloor left over from our garage remodel.

I used my CAD program (Cardboard Aided Design...) to trace the shape then cut out some pieces of the wood and screwed it together. Once I cut out the sides of the square tube it was fairly easy to bend it to shape. Again using my CAD program I made the S shaped pieces and tacked one to the square tube while it was clamped to the jig. Then I flipped it over and tacked in the S shaped piece for the other side. Satisfied it was the right shape and not twisting, I welded it up solid.

BTW, I got my steel from On-Line Metals. Much better selection than the big box home stores. The local steel supply place was not interested in selling me small quantities. On Line Metals is also a company with a sense of humor - scroll down to their link to 'Free Range Metals'... (you can get a discount there, too)
