David, At one time (70's-80's) these were popular (cheap) alternatives for rust repair. I had a set on my TR-6, and never should have sold the pair I had for the Spridget.

As our cars aged and fell out of "daily driver" use, I'm guessing many of those molds were destroyed (molds are big and take up a lot of storage room).

You might ask over on the MG Motorsports board forum here... some of the racers there might have sources for stock fglas panels.

I have two sets of them, plan to use one but haven't decided which set yet. There is even a set for sale on our local craigslist, for a hefty price.

Hey David... You might benefit from putting "WTB" for "want to buy" in your subject line. Most folks would click on your post thinking you had fenders for sale.

Good luck..!

Mark

David,
I have a flared front fender from an scca race car if that will help. Not sure if that's the type of fender you're looking for. I also have a right quarter panel if you'd be interested.

Smoothline still has most of their molds, but no longer produces them. They are trying to sell their Brit, Fiat, and Datsun molds, but as a complete set

I'm not sure what Smoothline even IS at this point. I Google earth-ed their office today and it was just a very modest home in a very modest neighborhood. I was interested in bookmarking them for a future hard top. Their product looks good and the price seemed fair.

The next time I need to go for sheet lexan, I was invited to stop by their facility. Maybe if I have time I will check them out.
