This is actually out of a Metropolitan, so it has no tach drive. But it has an MGA head for good power. The engine is original, and runs strong, over 40psi oil pressure, no smoke, no problems. It was in my MGA when I bought it, and I put back in the correct 1600. The engine was running strong and reliably in my car for many years with the Prev. Owner and should be ready to carry on. I live in Kansas City. Freight cross-country is about $350 or less.

I'd like $500 for engine, which is simply a long block with water pump and main pulley and fly wheel and all covers.

Can you find these engines in rural communities or only in Metropolitan areas? devil smiley
