Hello everybody, i recently got into the mg scene and have done some homework on how not to buy a rust bucket lol. Im actualy a vw guy, anyway like the title says im looking for a drivable pre 1974.5(half rubber half chrome bumpers are ok) mgb in the 2k range with minimal rust (not looking to replace door sills or entire floors) but can deal with some rust that requires patching here or there,So long as the car runs well and isint missing anything ridiculous $$$ to replace.Luckily the mg repro market is huge so really all im worried about is not starting with a rust bin lol im located in florida and would prefer to buy locally, i may travel for the right car though grinning smiley

please help me find one i just wont sleep well until i have my own mg! if you know some one who has one f/s please send them my way.your help is apreciated smileys with beer

o yea i most certainly do...i whent to go see a running mgb gt last week, got to drive it around town and although i didin end up buying it(to much rust) the bug has bitten me... smileys with beer

im going crazy looking for one... any suggestions?

Head up to Jupiter on April 7 for the 7th (I think) Wheels across The Pond Car Show. Lots of B's there and a couple of Midgets.
This is the first year I'll miss cause I'm going to school in Orlando

Some shows forbid "for sale' signs others don't
I think Wheels across the pond allows them
You can ask around, the owners will know who is selling.
While your there, look up Francis Warwick and Mike Goodwin
They may have a line on MG's for sale in South FL.
