Hi guys - I sold the Bugeye so this needs to find a new home. It has been professionally prepared and properly stored since being overhauled. In fact it is still in the wrapping, I've only opened it up to take a picture of the stamping and teeth.

$275 plus actual cost of shipping. US shipping only. Probably $40 or so to ship at actual cost.

Local pick up in SoCal is OK.

Do you have any idea if that would work, as is, on an MGA?

Jeff,

Won't fit an MGA, but you can use a pumpkin out of an early MGB with banjo-type axle. 3.9 was the standard gear ratio, and the same chunk was used for both disc and wire wheels; the difference for wire vs. disc wheels is in the width of the axle housing and the axle shafts, but the chunk is the same either way. Shouldn't be too hard to find...

Just wondering would this fit in a morris minor?

would you be happy to post to Australia? I'm happy to get quotes if you could give me a dimension/weight..

Thanks,
Tom

man...3.9 in a Minor. Do you have until next week to get to the next corner?

I've had a bunch of Minors. And none needed such a hit in the ratio as this...4.55 to 3.9? Maybe you have a more potent engine than the one-carb 948?

haha yes! I have a datsun 120y motor in there and morris major tyres and a 5 speed toyota gearbox.. currently with the 4.5 in it it is revving high at 60km/h so the previous owner put massive tyres on it which didn't clear the guards and were illegal here in aus so i changed back to 14" tyres on morris major rims and now I just need to change the diff!!

hence the request to see if this kind man would post it to Australia!
