Fred,

Those photos likely from an SCCA National at Summit. Actually, I may have been in that race in my first MGB race car -- dark blue, #34, fender flares, chin spoiler, Appliance slotted aluminum wheels.

Wonder why the Group 44 car was the one everybody was taking pictures of? grinning smiley

I'll dig out my old log book to see if I was in that particular race. I do remember running against Brian Furstenau...

Yep, thats Randy, Fred also notice the Bugeye with the name "Jim Harrison" on the door, wonder if thats the same guy in the orange FP Miata now, I bet it is.

You know I wondered that, I could see that it was a white Sprite and looked like #47, Col. Joe's number, I just didn't know if that was the time frame where Col. was still racing the Sprite, or had moved on to the Datsun. We raced with Col. Joe and the Datsun roadster in Fred. T's GP Sprite in the 89-90s, Col. Joe, Randy, and Chris used to often slip down and race in SEDIV nationals, add Kevin Allen, Rick Cline Jr., and Bob Lembke to that tally, and those were some great races.

I saw Rick Cline Sr. and Jr. this past weekend at MG2012, and got to talk to them for a good long time.
