OK, to all of the MG Motorsports Forum contributors, are you a "member" of the MG Vintage Racers? I expect you have heard of the group. We are about 300 racers of MGs from the US, Canada, England, Europe and elsewhere. Yes, we are primarily a US group which organizes one or two Focus Event race weekends each year and offers a really fine newsletter edited by Chris Meyers. I keep the books and therefore know who is a member and who is not. So for those of you who are not (Rick, Hap and others) why not subscribe? It is only $10 to join and then every 4-5 years we hit you up again for another small donation. Chris just finished the latest newsletter and it alone is worth $10.

Go to http://www.mgvr.org/ to download a subscriber application and to check us out.

Tim, there's a thread about the Mitty just below this one. We've got a couple of members there this weekend.

Long-time member of both MGVR and also the Vintage Racer Group (VRG), which was founded by the same folks who started MGVR. MGVR proved so successful that they founded VRG to provide similar racing and camaraderie for marques other than MG. While both were originally northeast area groups, VRG has broadened, and MGVR is now national...

Larry, I thought I was kicked out! Justified, certainly, since I failed to attend the Focus Event that MGVR kindly held right in my back yard.

Then I received the newslatter. So I guess I'm still in.

I don't think I've paid dues in well over a year. Lost in the mail?

I used to be a member long ago and have the regalia to prove it. I dropped out because I never got to actually RACING a vintage MG.

Now I race, but it's not vintage, and I don't have the proper grill for it. winking smiley
