Adjusting rear sway bar

What is the best way to setup a rear sway bar? I put new poly bushings in the end links and poly in the mounts. How tight does the bar need to be when the car is sitting on the suspension? Should the bar have to be pulled forward slightly when putting in the end link bolts? What is a good way to make sure that both sides have even tension? As always Thank you to all for the help!

Regards,
Eric

Buy an adjustable rear sway bar from Dave Headley (fast-mg.com). He'll talk you through the simple adjustment procedure...

I put on his Drop-Spindles and shaved the front springs the rear has restacked leaves and blocks. The front already has a 7/8" sway bar the rear is the stock size bar with the ends that thread on. In the past for other cars I havn't seen any method of setting up sway bars. Its very strange that the new bushings didn't have any info they are from Energy Suspension.

I've never done anything with, or seen one for that matter, the factory rear bar. So I'm afraid I can't help. I doubt that it came with adjustability unless you want to modify the mounting.smileys with beer
