Anyone know if there is a Hydraulic Throw out Bearing that can be used with the Rover LT77 box?

Cheers, Neil.P

Have you checked with the Wedge Shop. They have lots of TR8 stuff that uses the LT77 transmission.

Neil If you won’t a real big Pain in tha ass, use a HTOB!!!!!! The O E clutch used in the LT77 has worked great in all the V8s I have built. Have used 2 HTO and had both leak, total junk in my book.

If it leaks it'll take longer to bleed it than replace it and the transmission's still in the car.

1. Glenn, Does the original slave cylinder (SD1) fit in the MGB with the LT77 transmission?

2. Carl, Do you have a part # for the Macleod HTOB ?

Cheers, NP.

The SD1 slave cylinder fits in an MGB....and an RV8...winking smiley

I have the SD1 slave in my car. The RV8 I owned had the LT77 and the same slave cylinder.

No problem, Neil. I'll be putting the car to bed soon on the lift so can pass along some photos if you like once it's in the air.
