MSD is a good brand. At least their ignition components have a good rep. The pump is probably alright.

Scott68B told me he is using two pumps in his B. A low pressure pump and a high pressure pump. I'm guessing the low pressure pump is to get the gas from the tank and the high pressure pump is to feed the FI. I'm wondering if letting gravity feed the high pressure pump would do the trick. I'm using gravity to feed the pump on my street rod.

He also sent me pics of his motor mounts. If you haven't seen them Adam I can send them to you......T

FYI, I'm not running two pumps any longer. Got rid of the low pressure pump and re-plumbed the whole thing this evening. The car runs 1000% better now. I don't know what the problem was with having two pumps in the system but the single high pressure pump seems to suck gas out of the tank with no problem at all. I'm using an E8000, I think the brand is Accel. It has a 3/8" inlet and a 5/16" outlet.

Hey Scott, you in columbus, ohio?

It's been awhile since I read up on aftermarket fuel pumps. I'm thinking of putting one in to feed the Carter AFB on my rotary.

You're suppose to mount near the tank, correct? Since it's easier to push the fuel than it is to pull it?

Yes, I live near Columbus and actually work in Dayton. You're near Dayton aren't you?
