3500 Engine Specifics #1

Someone just posted a bunch of these engines on EBay. (Newly Listed). So I figure this is a good time to get clarification for myself. I had noted that I'm looking for a 04-06 Malibu, or whatever other car that uses this engine. Don't actually have a list. Beyond 06 GM made the VVT?, and I don't want that?

What is a Terazza? What is the significance of the 8th digit VIN I see referenced everywhere? And now I new one for me, the 4th digit?

MALIBU 04-05 4th VIN digit "Z", New style, 3.5L (VIN 8, 8th digit)
TERRAZA 05 3.5L (VIN "L", 8th digit)

It is correct that you do not want the LZ4 VVT version.

You want the LX9 3500.

Just awakened after a 10 year slumber.
Weber 32/36 DGV, a Stuck 45d Dizzy (stuck at 10 BTDC), Bad Vacuum advance disconnected n plugged. (refer to stuck dizzy) , Peco Exhast.
