OT, but I am craving a drive in the A.

Is it the weather? Is it seeing the nice cars/avatars on this forum? Is it the pressures of having two toddler boys running around the house? Is it the fact that I haven't really turned a wrench on the A for many months (because it's working so darned well)? Is it because the big drive of last spring was done in the Wildcat, not the A? Is it Bill S' post about nice sounding V6s?

I really, really want a nice warm drive from morning to night in the MGA. Maybe out to Calgary, maybe down to Cannon Beach along the coast. If there wasn't so much snow, I'd love to go see Chris Gill's car...

Sigh... Spring is coming, I hope...

It's only been raining here lately. I know you drive your car in the rain. I have personal experience.

Go take your car for a drive. Pawn the kids off on someone (not me!) and take your lovely wife out.

Real drivers don't make excuses. They come back later and tell us how much fun they had! smiling smiley

With that in mind, I might just take the RV8 for a drive tomorrow. I'll be sure you report back on how much fun I have.

So.. some day I gotta get me some experience riding in an RV8, even if it's a rainy experience! eye popping smiley

Anytime, Duncan. I've even got a radio that works in this country so easy listening will be available.

Why don't you jokers drive up here for a visit and work on the v8 for me? There are a number of tasks we could easily bang off in a weekend!

Its a frosty night in Tampa. 68 degrees not 68 Commi Trudeau celcius degrees. Lots of stars on this frosty night. Dont get pissed, because I am moving back to the people republic very shortly. EH!!!! Canada is a wonderful country with wonderful people. It might be warmer here, but it is also the wild west, and murder city. I am getting tired of carrying two guns every where.

I was going to say the same thing, Jim. David's shoulder holster must be at the cleaners. smiling smiley

Chris, if we did all the work, you'd take all the credit and then where would we be? winking smiley

Would I need chains? My A did come with studded snows on it, but one delaminated and fell apart while on my MGB one winter... I used to love the A in the snow! But then I put on the Yokahamas, which were terrifying. I wonder how the latest tires on the "new" rims would do? The Coq is not my idea of the best test road... pretty lonely in them thar medians!

I'll pull you out, Duncan. You prefer chains or ropes? winking smiley
